Esther Ralston: The movie star who lived in Levittown

A retired movie queen, a genuine mega star, lived on Orchid Road. Her daughter was in Division Avenue's class of 1960. Our next blog entry will be an article about this actress and Levittown mom.

Here is an excerpt from our story: "Miss Ralston soon became one of the highest-paid actresses in silent films. She was publicized as the "American Venus," the title of a film she made in 1926. She also earned the appellation of "Paramount Clotheshorse," known for her extravagant lifestyle, which included riding about in a Rolls-Royce with a chauffeur uniformed in whatever color matched her dress."

Did anybody notice that Esther Ralston's movie "Children of Divorce" was produced by Frank LLoyd?

She had a son, Ted Lloyd, whose father was also named Ted Lloyd. Frank Lloyd is new to me, will do a Google search.
