The previous blog post concerning Sherry Kruger featured another version of this more than 60-year old class photo. That one included both girls and boys. The photo here is just the young lads.

The photo is courtesy of Cliff Fromm (class of 1960) who commented that the building was officially known as the "Old Jerusalem School House" and was constructed on farmland in 1876.

Cliff wrote: It was surrounded by huge trees and was very scenic. It was directly across the street from where MacArthur High School is now. Among those depicted in the two photos, who eventually graduated from Division Avenue High School in 1960, included Beth Cummings, Carole Arnesen, Ann Hoffman, Billie Jean Divone, Margret O'Pray, Bob Castro, Bruce Garabrant, Louie Lopez and yours truly.

Up until a few years ago I believe it was used as a storage facility and then it became a nursery school. A school bus picked us up in front of Bob Castro's house (18 Pintail Lane) and took us to school. Wonderful memories."
