I recently stumbled upon your blog about Levittown. I lived on Kingfisher Road moving in before Northside School was built (December 1949). I went to a three-room old fashioned school house in Wantagh in third grade but don't remember where I went in second.

Our backyard later faced the Northside School parking lot and one of my favorite memories was the dances they would have outside in the lot for kids and grownups (I think).

I would have graduated from Division Avenue in 1960 had I not moved to the East Meadow school district in 1956. I was friends with Pat Moore (who I sadly learned passed away) and remember Susan Weldon, Beth Cummings, Cliff Fromm, Tommy Paturzo and most of the kids pictured in Mr. Donavan's sixth grade class. I have that picture but not the fourth grade one with Mr. Langdon.

I have many wonderful memories of Levittown which I will share at a later time. I'm not accustomed to posting on blogs and other social media but I was so moved by the blog I felt compelled to add my two cents.
